When you accept Jesus, you are saved -- but you are not complete. God never intended you to return, alone, to your old life but instead, He provided His church so that you might be guided, supported and grow as a Christian with fellow believers.
First Baptist Church provides numerous opportunities for you to worship, learn and grow as a Christian. To rejoice together when times are good and to share in sorrows when times are bad. Together we are one in the body of Christ.
As part of a "church family", we gather together in informal settings to build stronger relationships with each other. Fellowship opportunities include:

- Senior Luncheons
- Sunday Morning Coffee Fellowship
Worshiping the Lord and learning about His word is not limited to a church building. We minister to those unable to come to us through:
- Bible Study at Mallard Bay
- Worship Service at Chesapeake Woods
How better to praise and worship the Lord than through music and singing. Ways we make a joyful noise include:
- Music Ministry / Choir
- Long Wharf Christian Concerts
We minister to others outside of our church family through missions.
Sunny Day Christian Preschool provides a safe, loving environment for your pre-kindergarten child to develop educational and social skills in a happy, healthy, Christian atmosphere.
