State Missions Offering
As a member of the Baptist Convention of Maryland/Delaware, we participate in the State Missions Offering. The monies received through this offering support a number of mission programs within the Maryland and Delaware region including Embrace Silver Spring, Collegiate Ministries, Poverty Initiatives, Disaster Relief and Outreach to Internationals. OC International Student Dinner
Each summer, Baptist churches in Maryland and Delaware provide dinner for international workers that have come to Ocean City Maryland for the summer season. For the night assigned to First Baptist of Cambridge, church members gather early in the day to do dinner preparation and then carefully pack the meal for the trip to Ocean City. This is no vacation! This is hot, hard work serving the meal to hundreds but it is well worth the hands-on effort. In conjunction with association missionary efforts, these free dinners, Bible studies, Surf and Sand Clubs, impact eternity for many.
