How To Receive Jesus and Join This Church
As the Hymn of Response is sung at the end of the service, you are invited to come forward and share with the Pastor one or more of the following decisions:
- I wish to accept Jesus Christ as my personal Savior and Lord The most meaningful and wonderful decision you will ever make is to receive Jesus Christ into your life as your Lord and Savior. Out of His great love for you, God has provided forgiveness for your sins, the means to make a fresh start in life and a glorious eternity with Him in heaven. At the moment you say "yes" to a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, God pours His power into your life... a power you have not known before this moment. It's the power to turn away from sin and begin living a holy life. It all begins with your decision to ask Jesus to forgive your sins and to start living for Him. If this is your desire, please come forward and our Pastor will guide you in a "prayer of faith." Please come!
- I wish to become a member of this Church" Membership in a Bible-believing, Christ-centered church is one of the greatest joys in life. You will be supported, nurtured and encouraged in your spiritual journey by a church family that loves you and really cares about you and your family. If you are not an active member of a Bible-believing, Christ-centered church, we joyfully encourage you to consider membership in this church. If you feel God leading you in this direction, please come forward and share your desire with our Pastor.
- I wish to rededicate my life to Christ The Christian walk has been described as a "series of fresh starts and new beginnings." Sometimes we find ourselves drifting away from God; at other times, we may be wrestling with some habit pattern of sin. The answer is to confess our sin and recommit ourselves to God. If this is your desire, please come forward and allow our Pastor to pray with you. God bless you for your desire to draw closer to God!
