Our Triune God is absolutely sovereign. Hebrews 1 tells us Jesus currently reigns as the victorious God-man at the right hand of the Father. He is Kings of all kings.

Do you know our absolutely sovereign God don’t need anyone, but He has chosen to work instrumentally through us, for our benefit and His fame? Moreover, He doesn’t need extraordinary people, just faithful ones. He used William Carey, an ordinary English cobbler, to establish the Indian Inland Mission (basically the entire modern Christian mission to India). Carey was told God didn’t need any help gathering His elect sheep. That’s true!
