Pastor Steve Trice has planned a new sermon series for Sunday Morning Worship.

This inspiring sermon series entitled "Partnership with God", will lead us to a partner type relationship with God over eight weeks. The first sermon in this series, "Promises, Promises", was preached from the pulpit on November 18th.

On Thanksgiving Day, Grace Church provides meals for our community. If you would be interested in helping with the Thanksgiving Community Dinner this year the preparations will begin at noon on Wed. 11/21. If you would like to help on Thanksgiving Day please arrive at 10:30 a.m.; they are also looking for people who will come in towards the end to help clean up.

Food items needed for “Thanksgiving Baskets”: instant potatoes, canned gravy, boxed dressing, canned sweet potatoes, canned peas, and canned cranberry sauce. Thanks for helping bless others with a Thanksgiving meal.

We will be providing weekly bag lunches and a monthly dinner for the Cold Weather Shelter. If you would like to help with the cost, please take a "Loaf of Love" box. When your "Loaf of Love" box is full, place it in the "Loaf of Love offering basket outside the sanctuary doors. The Cold Weather Shelter will be open December 1, 2012 through March 31, 2013. Thank you for sharing a "loaf of love" with others in our community. If you would like to help prepare the bag lunches or help prepare and serve the dinner at the shelter, please contact Donna Engle.

This year's Cambridge Community Thanksgiving Service will be held on Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at 7:00 pm at Christ Episcopal Church, High and Church Streets, Cambridge. The Dorchester County Ministerial Association has held this service for many years, as a time for all of the various churches to give thanks together. The offering from the service will go to the Emergency Cold Weather Shelter and the Salvation Army, for their ministries of compassion and outreach to the needy of our area.

If you would like to place a Christmas Poinsettias or a Wreath in the church in memory of, or in honor of, a loved one, please complete the form and return it to the church office. Poinsettias are ordered by the Flower Committee at a cost of $6.75 each, wreaths at $10 each and they will be delivered here at the church. Please have your order in by December 16th. If you need more information, you may call the church office or Mrs. Donna Era.
