A new miniseries entitled "The Bible" has begun playing on The History Channel. In 5, two-hour segments, executive producers Mark Burnett and his wife, Roma Downey are endeavoring to bring 10 Bible stories to life.

"We know we couldn't tell the whole Bible in 10 hours -- we wish we could have had 1,000 hours -- but we have done our best to make these stories come to life with fresh visual imagery on the screen in ways that will deeply and emotionally connect with an audience," Downey said in an interview with For Faith & Family.

Following the dedication of his baby brother in church, a four-year-old boy sobbed all the way home in the backseat of the car. His mom and dad asked him three times what was wrong, getting no reply, only more sobbing.

Finally, the boy replied, "The preacher said he wanted us to be brought up in a Christian home, but I want to stay with you guys!"
