Three boys are in the school yard bragging about their fathers.

The first boy says, "My Dad scribbles a few words on a piece of paper, he calls it a poem, they give him $50."

Dorchester County is presenting the 3rd Annual Empty Bowl Meal to benefit food pantries on May 21st, 2013. First Baptist Church of Cambridge has volunteered to provide the desserts for the meal.

It's time again to assemble health kits to be used in a variety of ministries. Kits donated thru First Baptist will be distributed among International students working in Ocean City this summer.

On Sunday, May 12th, plastic bags with a list of items needed will be available at 2 tables in the entrance hallway. Please pick up the number of bags you can fill and return them no later than Sunday, May 19th.

A little girl, dressed in her Sunday best, was running as fast as she could, trying not to be late for Bible class. As she ran she prayed, "Dear Lord, please don't let me be late! Dear Lord, please don't let me be late!"
