Coronavirus (COVID-19)

First Baptist is concerned, as is everyone, by the threat posed by the Coronavirus (COVID-19) to our members and their families and to our community and the world. We continue to hold our Sunday morning service but are asking our members and guests to make a few small changes to protect their health and the health of everyone.

  • If you are not feeling well, have a fever, cough, or shortness of breath, please stay at home and address these health concerns with your doctor.

  • Please avoid or limit close contact with others. We will no longer be closing our service by holding hands.

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds especially after you have been in a public place, or after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing.

  • Take advantage of hand santizer stations and avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands.
  • If you have health issues, consider staying home while the risk remains high. Audio recordings of our services are available on CD and can be streamed on this website.
  • Contact the church or pastor if you have a need or concern.

It is our prayer that the threat posed by this virus passes quickly. We also pray for the sick and the medical professionals that take care of them. Please be careful with your health and the health of others.
