Cambridge is host to the 104th Cambridge Classic powerboat race this weekend, July 26th-27th 2014. Races start at 11 a.m. Saturday and at 12 noon on Sunday.

Lynn Davis, Ocean City Resort Ministry missionary, was pleased to receive 39 Health Kits this past week. They will be given to international students working in Ocean City who are reached through the Baptist Church in OC. "Thank You" to all who participated in the annual mission ministry.

The 2nd Annual Young Life 5K Run/Walk will be held on June 21, 2014 in Cambridge, MD at Snows Turn Park.
All proceeds go to the Dorchester County Young Life scholarship program which helps local area teenagers attend Young Life Summer Camps.

At the First Baptist Christmas store this year, gifts were provided for 94 children (35 families), ages birth-18. Parents got to shop for their gifts and get them wrapped at the gift wrapping table — thanks go to the Quota Club for all the gift wrapping supplies. Parents even got to enjoy home-made cookies and punch while they waited. Many extra items were provided at the “stocking stuffer” table.
