Be Thankful

Be thankful
for the difficult times. It is during those times you grow.

Be thankful
when you don't know something for it gives you the opportunity to learn.

Did You Miss Last Sunday's Message?

This past Sunday, September 5th, we were priviledged to receive a tremendous message from Pastor Austin Nute, titled The Great White Throne Judgment. This message from the Word of God, described the final, awful, judgment of non-believers before the Great White Throne.

Guest Speaker Austin Nute on August 8th

Brother Austin Nute will bring us the message this coming Sunday, August 8th. He will be speaking on Philippians 3:12 through 4:1 and has asked us to read and study the passage in advance of his message.

Austin is a long-time member of First Baptist and has also pastored at First Baptist in Laurel.

Sunday Morning Concert

Dave Morgan and his wife Jeanie will be here on Sunday, June 27th, to present a morning of Southern Gospel music. Dave is a member of the Delmarva Gospel Music Association.

Books of the Bible Puzzle

Can you find the names of twenty-five books of the Bible in this paragraph? This is a most remarkable puzzle. Someone who found it in the seat pocket on a flight from Los Angeles to Honolulu, kept himself occupied for hours. One man from Illinois worked on this while fishing from his john boat. Roy Clark studied it while playing his banjo. Elaine Victs mentioned it in her column once. One woman judges the job to be so involving, she brews a cup of tea to help calm her nerves.
