Vision

First Baptist Church cares about our world, our community, and our church family.

 -- Because we care about our world, we will intentionally seek to become an Acts 1:8 church.

 -- Because we care about our community, we will intentionally seek to meet the needs of our neighbors in the name of Jesus Christ.

 -- Because we care about the First Baptist Church family, we will intentionally seek to help individuals grow in their walk with Christ within a fellowship of love, encouragement, and support.

Acts 1:7-8

7 He (Jesus) said to them, “It is not for you to know times or periods that the Father has set by His own authority. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

Strategy Plan

The church began working toward a strategy plan to become an effective Acts 1:8 church during the pastoral search process. With Pastor Wade's leadership in place, a strategy plan can be further refined and adopted.

Ministry Plan

At the July business meeting, the church approved a ministry plan for the second half of 2007.
